Robert Shackelford

Robert (Bob) Eric Shackelford passed away peacefully at his home on August 29, 2026 at the age of 68 from ALS. Bob was born on Feb. 7, 1958 in Keosauqua, IA., To Roye and Catherine Shackelford. He was a graduate of Charles Page HS, Class of 1976.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Richard, and a son Isiah.

Survived by his loving wife, Janice Shackelford and by his children,

Sarah Russo and husband Adam, Shelly Shackelford, Michael Shackelford, Rylan Shackelford and husband Ren, Baylor Shackelford and partner Joshua Raney, Nathan Shackelford, and William Steinlicht.

And by his grandchildren, Kaidin Russo, Hudson Russo, Henry Chiri, Austin Raney, Archer Raney, and River Shackelford.

Bob is also survived by his siblings, Roye, Bill, David, Cathy, Mark, and Jerry.

Bob was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was an excellent carpenter, electrician, salesman, resturanteur, and singing enthusiast and all-around great guy. He had a contagious smile and could make anyone laugh. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
