Jerry Dillon your services were so appreciated. It was easy to choose when I needed someone for Mark Goodman. When Preston McCurtain came to Marks house he gave me peace of mind I had made the right choice. I will forever appreciative of your services. God bless...

Ronnie, We would like to Thank You for the kindness and compassion you have shown to Stace and our family. The only deviation to Stace's pre-arrangements was me choosing to entrust you with my one and only. Dignity, Respect, & Honor was what I wanted, and you enabled that with the upmost respect! Thanks, Jessica Spradlin & Family

When my mother passed away, I just didn't know how I was going to get through it. But Jerry Dillon and his staff took care of everything. I had never met them before, yet they brought in such a sense of confidence that I knew immediately that I could trust them. They were professional, compassionate and kind, all at the same time. They listened. They truly listened and took an interest in what I had to say. It made me realize that they really cared. I notice things like that. Since then, I have been recommending them to everybody I know. You can trust these guys.

When my wife Carolyn passed away last year, Jerry Dillon and his staff at Woodland Memorial Park and Dillon Funeral Home made special accommodations of all my requests. On the day before Carolyn's internment, when Jerry became aware that Carolyn had always wanted to be buried next to the Veterans section in the cemetery but had not been allowed by the previous owners, he and his staff made was impossible -- possible -- even though her burial space had already been prepared elsewhere

Jerry Dillon, his daughter Daniele were very personable and willing to help in any way. Although there were lots of difficult decisions to make, they made it as easy as possible, providing all the information without pushing us in any direction.

Dear Dillon Staff Our family cannot express in words how much we appreciate the way you handled the arrangements in the recent death of our father. When we knew he was near the end, we had already decided to go with another group before we met you. Our minds were set. We knew they had been around forever, and our families had used them many times. We have nothing negative to say about them. They are competent, caring, and professional. However, when we came to the cemetery to select the burial spot, we met all of you. From the first conversation, we knew we wanted you to handle the arrangements because it was evident you would be in charge of every detail personally. That was the greatest comfort to know that after having talked with us at length about our dad and about what we wanted for him, that you would be the one to do it all, A-Z, yourself, instead of hiring it out to others. The personal attention was sincere and comforting. We appreciated being able to call you at any time with any concern, and you had an answer. Because the price difference was so significant, we were initially concerned about the professional quality of your services. Since we were making the arrangements ourselves, we knew we had our mother and siblings to please, so it was a lot of pressure. Thankfully, that was never an issue. Every detail was handled professionally and with the utmost competence. By the time the funeral service was over, we felt such a bond with you all. The fact that you even delivered the food to the home yourselves and sat at the dinner table with the family made us feel that you weren't just doing your job, but your heart was in it all the way. You definitely went above and beyond our expectations. We received many compliments from our friends and family about what a touching and personal service you provided. We made the best choice. Warmest regards, Cathy and Ken Wells

Dear Staff at Dillon Funeral Service, I want to thank all of you for the help and guidance given to my family. Beginning with our first funeral pre-planning meeting to the actual funerals of both my parents, Delbert and Yvonne Cavanaugh, the genuine compassion and concern for our needs and wishes were evident. I am very blessed to have been able to work with you during this difficult time. Losing both parents in a six month period is very difficult but you handled all the details and took excellent care of all of u They're desire to provide a ministry of compassion to those grieving is very evident from the time of death until everything is completed after the service. I appreciate that you personally took responsibility to return my mother’s handiwork and photographs to my home after the services were finished. Your skills and talents are well matched to you in this ministry field. Jerry, you went above and beyond the call of service when you stepped in at the very last minute and sang the solo at my dad’s service when the singer we lined up was ill and could not sing. What a blessing to me and my family. Your gift of a song blessed us all. I can and will personally recommend Dillon Funeral Services to anyone who finds themselves in need of this service. The attention to detail and their compassion for the family are genuine and heartfelt. They are masters at what they do. Cindy & Gary Hargrove Sand Springs, OK

Dillon Funeral Home has gently led our family through our time of grief with the loss of three of our family members. Even when the youngest & most vulnerable of generations set before him, not only did Dillon staff listen to our family's very specific requests, but they did not try and sell us anything. They delivered each time and went "above & beyond.". they took great care of our loved ones, but they also took excellent care of our family. They always made us feel like we were the only family they was working with while in fact they worked with so many other families. They did this while overseeing the building of the beautiful new Woodland Chapel and working tirelessly to restore Woodland Cemetery to it's original beauty of many many years ago. Dillon staff will always hold a special place in our hearts and we are happy to now call them a friend of our family. - the families of The Wrights, The Thomas' & Woodrow

Dear Dillon Staff I would like to personally write to you and thank you for the warm, caring, personal and highly professional way you and your entire company handled the funeral arrangements for my Dad, William W. Forsythe. You and your staff were personal without being intrusive, caring while being genuine and professional without being impersonal. Our entire family felt that all of the funeral arrangements were handled exactly as we wanted them to be. Dad lived a very full 87 years, and he and my Mom were married 68 years! You were respectful and demonstrated that you truly do care how your services would effect us. As you know, I only stopped by to check on the status of the burial plot- I didn't even know that there was another funeral company in Sand Springs. It was delightful to find that you personally perform many of the services that the other mortuary sends out. Your staff was so much more customer-oriented and there was also a cost savings that was also meaningful to us. I am happy to highly recommend Dillon Funeral Company to anyone who needs funeral services. The way you treated our family brought warmth, dignity and authentic compassion to an emotional and difficult time for any family. Very truly yours, William Forsythe

Lena Faye Cupps, our mother's season for living ended on October 20. Although she had been ill for several months, we just weren't prepared for the end and felt overwhelmed by all the arrangements that had to be made so quickly. After visiting with Dillon Funeral Home and meeting their staff for the first time, my family felt like the burdens had been lifted and we knew we could trust them with making all the arrangements and that my mother's service would be handled with grace and dignity. The new chapel was just the right size for a funeral, much more intimate than a large sanctuary in a church. The acoustics were so good that a microphone was not needed for the eulogy or for the singing of hymns. The flowers were beautiful against the wood paneling and native rock. The viewing room was easily accessible by friends and the removal of the casket by the pallbearers was only a couple feet away. A slide show of the family history was made by the funeral home. This was running in the private viewing room the night before the service when family and friends were invited for a viewing. It was again running on several screens during the service. This seemed to lighten everyone's spirits as we shared precious memories. There was a fire burning in the fireplace that added warmth to the chapel. Those that wanted to stretch their legs after the grave side ceremony leisurely walked back to the chapel for an intimate catered meal with family and friends all arranged by Dillon Funeral Home. Sand Springs is very fortunate to have the Dillon Funeral Home and Woodland Cemetery. In Christ loving name, (Children of Lena Faye Cupps)
