Allan Dean Mitchell Obituary (1956

Allan Dean Mitchell, age 58 of Sand Springs, passed from this life on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 in Tulsa. Allan was born on January 20, 1956 in Battle Creek, Michigan to Gilbert Dean and Velma Louise (Couch) Mitchell. He graduated from Cleveland High School in 1974 and went to work for Fibercast Inc. Allan has worked for Fiber Glass Systems formally called Fibercast Inc. for the last 40 years serving in various positions and his current position being a Supply Chain Manager. Allan loved sports and Oklahoma Sooner Foot Ball, which he referred to as his team. He also enjoyed Golf, Bowling, watching NASCAR Racing and the St. Louis Cardinals. Allan never met a stranger and touched a lot of lives, especially his friends. He is survived by his two sisters; Terri Rotert and husband Henry of Broken Arrow, Tammi Vance and husband Tom of Keystone, five nieces and nephews; Jay Rotert and wife Brandi of Sand Springs, Josh Driskell of Jenks, Amy Perez and husband Daniel of Arapaho, Kristi Guardado and husband Jesse of Sand Springs, Stefani Vance of Keystone. Also surviving Allan are six great nieces and nephews; Selena Perez, Jacob Ashlock, Caleb Rotert, Braeden Rotert, Cooper Guardado, Conner Guardado. Allan was preceded in death by his parents; Gilbert and Velma Mitchell.
