Bob White

Bob J. White 87, of Broken Arrow, formally of Sand Springs, passed away on Friday September 9, 2011. Bob was born in Cushing Oklahoma on May 21, 1924. Upon graduating from Cushing High School he enlisted in the United States Air Corps and served his country as a decorated pilot in WWII and Korea. After WWII he attended Oklahoma A&M where he met Teni Goode his wife of 64 years. In 1950 he graduated with a BS in Business and began a career which spanned over 50 years as a specialist in Human Resource. Even after retirement, Bob was active in his community serving as chairperson of numerous professional, civic, and religious organizations.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Fern White, and a brother S. T. White Jr.

He is survived by his wife Teni (Goode) White of Broken Arrow, sister Marilyn Wright of Richardson Texas, son Barry White and wife Christine or Arlington Heights, IL, daughter Janice Vail and husband Bobby of Tulsa, OK, two granddaughters, Teni Stemson of Owasso and Andrea Pennell of Tulsa, and five great-grand daughters. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to John Calvin Presbyterian Church or a charity of your choice.
