Bradford Parker Obituary (1929 - 2012)

Bradford ?Brad? Ray Parker, age 83 of Sand Springs, passed from this life on Saturday, October 6, 2012 in Tulsa. Brad was born to Leon Pierce and Beulah Margaret (Boyd) Parker on May 12, 1929 at the family?s home in Sand Springs. He graduated from Sand Springs High School also known as Charles Page High School and enlisted in the United States army serving in Germany in the Bloody Bucket Brigade. After the Army, Brad went to work for American Airlines in Tulsa and married JoAnne Fiveash on May 10, 1969 in Tulsa. Brad went on to work for American Airlines for 38 years before retiring. He was a member of the Transport Workers union Local #514. Brad loved his family and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife JoAnne Parker of the home, a son Brian Parker and wife Kasie of Sand Springs, a daughter Deena Tolbert and husband Jason of Sand Springs, a sister Dorcus Cannon of Sand Springs, six grandchildren Kaitlynn Parker, Jasie Tolbert, Korbyn Parker, Trevor Tolbert, Kaden Parker and Jayden Tolbert, also surviving Brad is one great-grandson Kylor Parker. Two nieces Deborah Smith and Rhonda Bagby Brad was preceded in death by his parents Leon and Beulah Parker.
