Carl Ray Davis Obituary (1941

Carl Ray Davis was born on March 27th, 1941, to parents Garland and Nola Davis, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He graduated from Ripley High School and went into the Army. He served our country from January 28th,1961 until he was honorably discharged November 27th, 1966. Carl passed on September 11th, 2022, peacefully his home, surrounded by both of his daughters. Carl is proceeded in death by his late wife Bonnie Sue Davis, mother of Angie and Michele, his most recent wife, Judy Davis who passed away from Cancer while they lived in Las Vegas, Nevada. He also leaves behind his girlfriend Madge Ralston, whom he loved dearly. He was her "sweetheart." Carl is survived his children Angie Travis and husband Raymond Travis of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Michele Horne of Tulsa, Oklahoma and his sister-in-law, Connie DeBruin, his nephew Nic and his wife Candi DeBruin of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Carl had three Grandchildren, Bridget Grubb and husband Cody Grubb of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Tiffany Horne and husband Trinadad Torres of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Hunter Richards and wife Morgan Richards of Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Carl had five Great grandchildren, Lillianna Torres, Jaycee Grubb, Sophia Torres, Bradley Richards, and Dawson Richards. Carl was retired when he passed, but of course loved to stay busy. He worked part time at Odessa Auto Auction before he passed and was a carpenter for many years. He also owned a boat business and a few grocery/gas stations... also known as "Carl's Quick Stop". In Carl's early days, he enjoyed race cars, watching sports, fishing and hunting, cooking, gambling, dancing, playing pool and having a few drinks. Carl knew how to have a good time and he was always the life of the party. In his last few years, not much had changed, aside from to fact that he enjoyed watching his great grand kids in sports activities and spending time with loved ones.
