Doyle John Wilson Obituary (1934

Our family sadly lost our patriarch on Sunday, 10/17/21. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 22, at Limestone Baptist Church with Brother Darryl Muse officiating. Doyle will be laid to rest at Woodland Memorial Park Cemetery in Sand Springs. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Dillon Funeral Service. Doyle was born May 18, 1934 to John and Velma Wilson in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. For the majority of time, his profession was an equipment operator for Sheffield Steel. He was a devoted husband to Betty Wilson for over 61 years. He was also a wonderful father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend to many. He served as a deacon for many years at Limestone Baptist Church. He is survived by his three children, David Wilson, Mark Wilson and wife, Vickie, Rebecca Page and husband, Charles all from Sand Springs. Grandchildren, DeGaylia Breedlove. James, Beau Wilson (wife Abbie), Levi Wilson (wife Amanda), Jessie Wilson-Coleman (husband Jason), Hunter Wilson, Abbie Smith (husband Cody) and Matthew Page. Eleven great grandchildren, Javen Wilson, Jason, Jacob, Rylee and Sophia Coleman, Brayden, Kevin and Jase Wilson, Alissa Wilson, Tucker Wilson and Samuel Smith. He is also survived by his sister, Dalpha Gibson of Sand Springs, and very much-loved nieces, nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty, parents, John and Velma Wilson, sister, Dona Shives and Great granddaughter ChyAnna Breedlove. He will be missed, he was loved and he is now in the arms of Jesus! Joshua 24:15: "As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord."
