Faris Roberts, age 69 of Sand Springs, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 29, 2010 at her home. \r\r\n \r\r\nFaris was born on December 14, 1940 in Sand Springs to Raymond and Dollie (Ellenburg) Coy. She graduated from Sand Springs High School in 1958 and married Alfred Roberts on June 10, 1958 in Miami, Oklahoma. \r\r\n \r\r\nShe went to work for Kerr Glass where she worked for more than five years and later worked for Boilermaker Union Hall in Tulsa. Faris was a member of Grace Community Church where she and Alfred volunteered there time cooking and cleaning or what ever needed done. \r\r\n \r\r\n Faris was a devoted mother, wife and friend to all who knew her. \r\r\n \r\r\nShe is survived by her husband Alfred Roberts of fifty-two years of marriage of the home, a daughter Deborah Morgan and husband Jim of Tulsa, a son Dale Wayne Roberts and wife Shanna of Broken Arrow, a brother Roy Coy and wife Debbie of Sand Springs and a sister Susan Clark of Tulsa also four grandchildren Faris Roberts of Sapulpa, Shawn Harper of Tulsa, Rachael Roberts of Sand Springs and Emma Bryant of Tulsa. \r\r\n \r\r\nFaris is preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Dollie Coy. \r\r\n \r\r\nFuneral services will be held at the Grace Community Fellowship Church, 762 E. Charles Page Blvd in Sand Springs with the Reverend Alex Campbell officiating. Burial will follow at Woodland Memorial Park also of Sand Springs. \r\r\n \r\r\nArrangements have been entrusted to the care of Dillon Funeral Home at Woodland memorial Park in Sand Springs.
