Faye M. Jones, age 89 of Sand Springs, passed from this life on Friday, December 6, 2013 in Sand Springs. Faye was born on November 10, 1924 in Bonham, Texas to Schuyler and Mamie (Fomby ) Atnip. She attended High School in Bonham, Texas and married Carl W. Jones on August 24, 1940 in Bonham, Texas. The couple moved to Sand Springs where Faye worked for the City of Sand Springs for over thirty-six years in various departments and last being Finance Director. She is survived by her granddaughter; Kim Eubanks and husband Edward of Sand Springs, great-grandchildren; Morgan and Carson, Daughter-in-law; Mary Eubanks of Sand Springs, two nephews; Mike Atnip and wife Betty of Texas and Bobby Atnip and wife Mary of Texas, two nieces; Betty Teel and husband Charles of Bixby and Sherry Thompson and husband Royce of Shawnee. Faye is preceded in death by her parents, husband Carl Jones, son; Rodney Jones, Grandson; Michael Jones and Brothers & sisters-in-law; Red & Jeanie Atnip, Gene & Mable Atnip.
