Howard Douglas Powers, age 91, of Sand Springs, Oklahoma was born on March 12, 1928 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and passed from this life on September 29, 2019 in Claremore, Oklahoma. Howard later joined the United States Navy on March 21, 1945 and proudly served our country during WWII until he was honorably discharged. Howard later married Jane Summerlin on July 12, 1957 in Denver, Colorado. His hobbies included; motorcycles, tinkering around and reading. The highlights of his life were his family. He is survived by: Wife: Jane of the home. 2 Daughters: Carol Powers and husband Rob of Henrico, Virginia. Pamela Osborn and husband Brian of Sand Springs, Oklahoma 2 Grandchildren: Andrea Marshall and husband Keith of Sand Springs, Oklahoma Brandon Osborn and wife Natalie of Sand Springs, Oklahoma 5 Great Grandchildren: Jenny Marshall, Jacob Marshall, John Marshall, Julianna Marshall and Ryan Osborn He was preceded in death by; his Parents and Brother; James Curtis Powers
