Howard ?Park? Fennell, age 81 of Sand Springs, passed away from this life to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 in Sand Springs. Park was born on October 15, 1929 in Butler, Pennsylvania to Charles Calvin and Lulu Jane Fennell. He graduated from Butler High School and later married Wanda Tabor on September 15, 1950 in Rockwall, Texas and the couple made their home in Sand Springs. He was a member of the Broadway Baptist Church in Sand Springs, where he served for many years on the Deacon Board and Sunday School Board and the Training Union which is an evening Sunday School. Park had worked for Chase Metals in sales department where he retired. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and making stained glass. He was also a member of the Sand Springs Civitan Club. He is survived by a son Charles (Rick) Fennell and wife Faith of Owasso, a brother Sheldon Fennell and wife Diaana of Butler, Pennsylvania, a sister Vera Crowe of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania three grandchildren Charles Christopher Fennell and wife Julie of Lansing, Michigan, Richard Ryan Fennell and wife Laura of Simi Valley, California and Michael Matthew in Owasso. Also surviving are two great-grandchildren Charles Joseph and Christopher Nathaniel Fennell of Lansing, Michigan. Park is preceded in death by his parents, wife Wanda Fennell, two brothers Bud and Don Fennell and a sister Bessie Armstrong. Graveside funeral services will be held on Saturday, 11:00 a.m., June 11, 2011 at Woodland Memorial Park Cemetery with Reverend Ryan Fennell and Dr. Kent Choate officiating.
