Hunter Lane Bohannon Obituary (1994 - 2021)

Hunter Lane Bohannon was born on October 13, 1994 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He departed this world and made the journey to his Heavenly Home on September 6, 2021. Hunter grew up in Berryhill where he attended Berryhill schools. He played a variety of sports and made many lifelong friends along the way. In January 2014, during his senior year, Hunter was involved in a near fatal car accident. He overcame all obstacles and was able to take his first steps by walking across the stage at his high school graduation. He was truly our "Miracle Boy". As his recovery progressed Hunter's relationship and walk with Christ became deeper and stronger. The Lord laid it on Hunter's heart to tell his "Story" and he shared this testimony with everyone that he would meet. Hunter was very active in his church, volunteering wherever he was needed. Some of his greatest joys were being a greeter at his church and also helping with the youth. Hunter loved spending time with his family, his friends and especially "Hanging Out with The Boys". To Know Hunter was to love Hunter. He had an infectious smile that would light up any room and would almost always get him anything he wanted. Hunter had a sense of humor like no other. He could make you laugh even when you were having a bad day. There were no bad days with Hunter, only days filled with love and joy. We all love and miss Hunter. Today, we are not saying goodbye, we are saying that we will see you soon when you greet us at the gates of Heaven. Hunter was proceeded in death by his Mother, Christy Smith. He is survived by his Dad, Harvey Bohannon Jr and "Earthly Mom" Jamie. Grandparents, Sharon Daniels, Sharon Todd Saxton and husband David, Harvey Bohannon Sr. and wife Barbara, and Ruby Thompson. Siblings, Brandon Bohannon and wife Amber, Zachery Smith, Ireland Smith and husband Preston Finley, Melissa Sattre and husband Jeff, Braden Byford and wife Britta, Drake Moffitt and wife Sydney, Uncles Mike Daniels and wife Susan, Steve Bohannon, 10 Nieces and Nephews with 2 more on the way, and many other Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
