James Porter Obituary (1957

James Sterling Porter II, of Sand Springs, passed away on Monday, October 25, 2010 in Tulsa. James was born on October 14, 1957 in Southington, Connecticut to James Sterling and Claudette (Robinson) Porter. He graduated from Southington High School and joined the Army serving as an Honor Guard at the Pentagon in Washington, DC. After the military, James later went to work for Infinedi as a Senior Systems Analyst were he was currently employed. He is survived by his parents James and Claudette of Sarasota, Florida, a son James ?Scooter? Sterling Porter III of Conception, Missouri, a fianc Linda Sam of Sand Springs, a brother Richard Porter and wife Lorraine of Meriden, Connecticut, two sisters Barbara Porter of Salsbury, Connecticut and Doreen Dube of Mariden, Connecticut, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. A Memorial Rosary will be Monday, 7:00 p.m., November 1, 2010 at St. Patrick?s Catholic Church and a Memorial Mass will be on Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. also at St. Patrick?s Catholic Church. Officiating will be Reverend Paschal Mbagwu. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Dillon Funeral Home of Sand Springs.
