Jeanie Arlene Cox Obituary (1942 - 2023)

Jeanie Arlene Cox was born on June 12, 1942, in Tulsa, OK TO Gordon Leonard and Gladys Virginia Null. She passed away on March 9, 2023. Jeanie worked at Mid-Continent Casualty Insurance company for about 30 years. She was an insurance auditor and traveled about. She was a skilled seamstress, sewing and making her daughters clothes when they were little, and even made their Barbie and baby doll clothes. She also made her own dresses because store-bought dresses just didn't fit her right. She enjoyed motorcycle riding, which led to her kids desire to ride motorcycles as well. She loved dancing, especially swing dancing, quilting, she made many quilts for her children, and was into making porcelain dolls. She would make them from molds, putting them together, adding make up on them, and making their clothes. But most of all she loved her family. She spent as much time with them as she could whether it be shopping, garage selling, or holidays and birthdays. Her family loved her dearly, and she will be missed greatly. She is survived by her son, Joel Mendenhall of Tulsa; two daughters, Joanna Mendenhall of Sand Springs, and Jodi Aich and husband John of Sand Springs; three grandsons, Kage Mendenhall of Tulsa, Jeremy Aich of Sand Springs, and Justin Aich of Sand Springs; and her brother, Gordon Ray Null of Sand Springs. Jeanie is preceded in death by her parents, Gordon and Gladys Null; and her brother, Preston (Sonny) Null. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 in the Berryhill Baptist Church in Berryhill. Interment will follow at Woodland Memorial Park Cemetery.
