Jerald Loyd Norman Obituary (1943 - 2022)

Jerald L. Norman, 78, of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away peacefully on May 6, 2022 surrounded by his children. Jerald was born August 17, 1943 to Virgil R. and Cardie "Irene" Norman. Jerald joins his wife, Shelia; parents, Virgil and Irene; siblings, Mildred, Loise, and Lawrence; and his granddaughter, Praise Melody in Heaven. He is survived by his children, Julie and husband Christopher of Van, TX, Jennifer of Neosho, MO, and Jerrid of Tulsa, OK, his grandchildren, Zachary and wife, Emily, Timon and Elisha and 2 great-grandchildren, all of Van, TX, sister, Loveda Cooper of Gardnerville, NV and many nephews, nieces, and friends. After serving in Vietnam, Jerald came home and worked many years driving a semi-truck cross-country. He loved making trips out west so he could meet up with his brother, Lawrence. Jerald loved his family and was known for baking delicious pies and making banana pudding and fudge. Though he refused to share his recipes. He also loved his dog, Scooter. Jerald will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
