Jessie Irvin Gilbert Obituary (1935

Jessie Irvin Gilbert, age 77, of Sand Springs, passed from this life on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at his home. Jessie was born on November 16, 1935 in Coweta to James and Ivy Dennosin Gilbert. He graduated from Charles Page High School and enlisted in the United States Army. After Jessie was discharged from the Army he went to work for Steeltech in Tulsa and later worked for the City of Sand Springs for seven years at the Case Center as a Custodian. He is survived by his wife; Betty Gilbert of the home, a son; Shean Williams and wife Toni of Sand Springs, three daughters; Robin Maywald and husband David of Tulsa, Rebecca Everett and husband Brett of Monrovia, Indiana and Linda Gilbert of Geronimo, Oklahoma, a brother; Jimmy Gilbert of Tearlton and eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Jessie was preceded in death by his parents; James and Ivy Gilbert, sister; Wilma Davis, two brothers; Donald Gilbert and Robert Gilbert.
