Joe Roy Lancaster Obituary (1961

Joy Roy Lancaster, age 52 of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 in Tulsa. Joe was born on October 8, 1961 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Joe "JD" Lancaster and Barbara "Joylene" (Snodgrass) Lancaster. He graduated from Charles Page High School in 1979. Joe went to work for Fibercast on October 9, 1979 until recent. Joe enjoyed guns, lighting stuff on fire, picking on his brothers and sister and spending time with his nephews and nieces. During family gatherings, Joe was the center of entertainment and always had the family laughing. There are countless stories of Joe getting himself or others into sticky situations, whether it was his brother hanging from a pole or he and his brothers and brother-in-law burning down a field. Joe had an incredible spirit and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his sister, Sheila Phillips and husband Paul of Sand Springs, OK; two brothers Kevin Lancaster and wife Loretta of Ketchum, OK; Ed Lancaster and wife Stephanie of Sand Springs, OK; ten nephews and nieces: Bryson Phillips and wife Jenni, Shawn Phillips, Kendra Lancaster, Michael Phillips, Amanda Kearns and husband Mark, Melissa Phillips, Jakob Ryan Lancaster, Kelsi Lancaster, Taylor Lancaster (whom Joe called Taz), and Christian Avery Lancaster. He was preceded in death by his Mother, Joylene and Father, J. D.
