John R. Maloney was born on September 25th, 1928 in Mena, Arkansas. He passed away on July 5, 2021 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Survivors include his wife, Mae Maloney (Harp); three sons, Shawn Maloney and wife Anita of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, Tracy Maloney and wife Tanya of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Greg Maloney and wife Suzanne of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; four grand-daughters, Jennifer Stecker and husband Brad of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, Candace Leslie and husband Jesse of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, Morgan Watkins and husband Christian of Nashville, Tennessee, Paige Smith and husband Elijah of Chattanooga, Tennessee; two grand-sons, Shane Maloney of Austin, Texas, Connor Maloney and wife Megan of Camas, Washington, and one Great-Grand-Daughter, Maren Leslie of Sand Springs, Oklahoma. John was preceded in death by his mother, Lena Reinart Maloney, father, James Maloney, brother, Don Maloney, and sister, Peggy Preston. An open casket viewing period is scheduled on Thursday, July 8th from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Dillon Funeral Home in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. A closed casket Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday July, 10th, 2021 at First Presbyterian Church in Sand Springs, Oklahoma followed by interment at 2:00 pm at Town of Kansas Cemetery in Kansas, Oklahoma.
