Joy Lee Harper Obituary (1940 - 2020) - Sand Springs, Oklahoma

Joy Harper, age 80, passed away on July 10, 2020 in Tulsa, OK. She was born on April 26, 1940 to Herb and Cleo McCray in Tulsa, OK. Joy married Jimmy Harper on October 10 1958. She is survived by her husband, Jimmy, of the home, son, Jimmy Harper, Jr and wife, Sandy, of Tulsa, daughter, Marty McCarthy and husband, Greg, of Catoosa, sister, Pat Wright of Naples, Florida and sister in law, Donna McCray. Joy is also survived by her grandchildren; Jeremy McCarthy, Jaime McCarthy, Hali Harper Wright and husband Caleb, and Megan Harper, great grandchildren; Kaden, Ely, harper. Abby, Mazy and Raynlee as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herb and Cleo McCray, twin brother, Roy Mccray, and brothers, David McCray and Robert McCray. Joy had many hobbies which included arts and crafts, watching movies, playing cards and reading bible studies. She was very family oriented and loved spending time with all of her family and friends. She especially enjoyed raising her kids and helping to raise her grandkids and great grandkids.
