Mathew "Matt" Alan Sewell Obituary (1988 - 2016)

Mathew Alan Sewell, 28 of Flint, Michigan passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2016 in Flint, Michigan. He was born April 26, 1988 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, a son of Roy Dale Sewell and Kimberly Anne Clare Sewell. Mathew worked as a pipe fitter in the petroleum industry and was a true hard worker. He was an awesome father to his three children and uncle to his nephew and six nieces and loved spending time with them every moment he had. He loved sports, especially basketball and football. Mathew was a stranger to no one and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He loved people and loved life. He is survived by his two daughters, Riley and Kayley Sewell of Lawrence, Kansas and his son, Peyton Sewell, also of Lawrence, Kansas; his mother, Kimberly Sewell and father, Roy Sewell; one brother, Adam Sewell of Flint, Michigan; two sisters, Ryan Sewell and Keli Sewell of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one nephew; six nieces; and a host of friends and other family members. Mathew was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents and his paternal grandmother. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 11, 2016 in the Dillon Marler Dighton Funeral Home Chapel located at 1200 North Cleveland, Sand Springs, OK 74063. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Woodland Memorial Park in Sand Springs, OK.
