Mrs Eva Alene Henley Obituary (1940 - 2015)

Eva Alene (Williams) Henley was born in McAlester, OK on May 12, 1940 to Kermit and Velden Williams. She has three sisters, Loraine Hamner, Lois McFerrin, and Louise Boyd. Eva grew up in the Sand Springs area and graduated from Sand Springs High School in 1958. She married Nelson Henley, her Junior High School sweetheart on June 27, 1958. Together they have two sons, Cliff and Joe Henley, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Joe has one son, Clifton Eugene Henley and one daughter, Kanah Henley Bernard. Clifton has two sons, Cory and Nickey Henley. Cory has one son and one daughter, Cadan and Adisyn Henley. Nick has three stepsons. Her passion in life was The Lord God Most High, her husband of nearly 57 years, children, grandchildren, playing the piano and guitar. She also loved fishing at Keystone Lake. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kermit and Velden Williams and one sister, Loraine Hamner. A Note from Nelson Eva was the love of my life from a very early age. Eva was 12 and I was 13. We were married when I was 19 and Eva was 18. Our first son Joe was six months old when we turned our lives over to Jesus and he became real to us. This event produced a love in our hearts for Jesus and each other that will live on for all Eternity. Amen
