Norma Townsend was born in Turkey, Texas to parents James Otto and Estelee Richardson. She passed from this life on May 28, 2017 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Norma was married to the love of her life, Donald Townsend Sr. on May 2, 1950. They were blessed with 67 wonderful years of marriage together. Their union was blessed with one son, Donald Dean Townsend Jr. Their family lived in Lubbock, Texas for 64 years before moving to Oklahoma to be near family the past 3 years. Norma is survived by her husband; Donald, one sister; Joyce Barlow and husband Darrell, one brother; James Richardson Jr. and wife Lolita; several nieces and nephews; Norma and husband Joel Hight, Britny and husband Roger Boyd and their children Cheyenne and Colton, Joy Hight and Sean Bullock and children Gavyn, Jayden, and Dayton. She is preceded in death by her son, Donald Dean Townsend Jr.; her parents, James and Estelee Richardson; and three sisters, Olita Richardson, Leola Pierce, and Wilma Sartor.
