Norman Lee Ward Obituary (1937

Norman Lee Ward was born on April 3, 1937 in Sand Springs, Oklahoma to Guy and Leota (Wilson) Ward. Spending his childhood in Keystone, Oklahoma, he later graduated from Keystone High School, which today does not exist. He married Charlene Welch on September 30, 1955 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and they have been happily married for 63 years. Norman served our country in the United States Air Force shortly after marriage. He was heavily involved in the Keystone School District, serving on the school board and serving on the Keystone Rural Gas District. His hobbies included; woodworking, raising cattle and gardening. The highlights of his life were his family and the outdoors. He is survived by: Wife: Charlene of the home 2 Sons: Rocky Ward and wife Amy of Welling, OK Randy Ward and wife Darla of Sand Springs, OK 1 Sister: Barbara Jean Coombs of Sand Springs, OK 5 Grandchildren: Ryan Michael Ward, Jenny Massey, Randy Lee Ward II, Megan Keen and Katie Scarlett Gooding. 7 Great-Grandchildren: Wyatt Ward, Augusta Penelope Ward, Octavius Archer, Nona Charlene Ward, Titus Norman Ward, Scarlett Rose Gooding and Prunella Dixie Ward. He was preceded in death by: his parents, 1 brother; Virgil Ward, 1 sister; Jeanette Punneo
