Rolland Dale Winchester

Rolland Dale Winchester, age 63 of Tulsa, passed from this life on Monday, August 19, 2013 at his home.

Rolland was born on September 9, 1949 in Deming, New Mexico to Woodrow "Woody" and Idell (Alexander) Winchester. The family settled in Tulsa and Rolland attended school at Roosevelt Junior High. He married Adaline June Samson on December 15, 1979. Rolland worked for the City of Tulsa Parks department where he worked for twenty-nine years before retiring. Rolland had also worked for the Tulsa Public School Board for ten years. He was a member of Local # 1180, Association Federal State Municipal Employees. Rolland loved collecting Die cast cars, Drag Racing and Camping.

He is survived by his wife Adaline June Winchester of the home, mother Idell Winchester of Tulsa, a daughter Mary Mason of Tulsa and a son Craig Wallander of Tulsa, a sister Patricia Gail Parnell and a brother Gary Woodrow Winchester, nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Rolland was preceded in death by his Father.
