Stanley Sigmon Obituary (1961 - 2011) - Sand Springs, Oklahoma

Stanley ?Stan? Sigmon, age 49 of Mannford, passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at his home. Stan was born on April 2, 1961 in Tulsa to Don Sigmon and Rosealee Jordan Tawater. He graduated from Webster High School in west Tulsa and worked in the dry cleaning business, construction and maintenance most of his life. Stan married Athena Bragg on November 10, 1999 in Aurora, Colorado and the couple made there in Mannford. He is survived by his wife Athena of the home, a son Nick Sullivan and wife Havi of Denver, Colorado, four daughters Monica Sigmon Paul and husband Jeff of Tulsa, Mika Sullivan of Oklahoma City, Kimberly Duvall and husband John of Kenner, Louisiana and Jessica Bragg of Owasso, mother Rosealee Tawater, step-mother Flo Sigmon, two brothers Steve and Donnie Sigmon both of Tulsa, a sister Donna Rose Sigmon-Farris and husband Scott of Sand Springs, also surviving Stan is five grandchildren Victoria and Madison Sullivan of Oklahoma City, Ayla Sullivan of Aurora, Colorado and one great-granddaughter Sophie Sullivan of Oklahoma City, And will be missed by his In-laws, nieces, nephews and Athena?s Family. Stan was preceded in death by his maternal parents Riley and Lorraine Jordan and paternal parents Don and Dorothy Sigmon. Funeral services will be Monday, 10:00 a.m., January 31, 2011 at the Sand Springs Church of God with Dr. Larry Tolbert officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Dillon Funeral Home.
