Suzanne Marie Haraughty Obituary (1976 - 2021)

Suzanne Marie Kendall Haraughty January 17, 1976 - November 13, 2021 Suzanne was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Patrick G. Kendall, Sr. and Judy V. Kendall. Along with her older brother, Pat Jr., the family spent summers camping and boating at the lake. As a girl she loved hanging out with friends, especially at a nearby roller rink, and snuggling her cats and dogs. She graduated from East Central High School and Tulsa Community College. Suzanne married the love of her life, David Wesley Haraughty, on May 24, 1997. The family grew to four with the births of David Jr. in 2000 and Emily Marie in 2002. Many years ago, Christ became the head of the Haraughty household. Suzanne's favorite Scripture was Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ, Who strengthens me" and that has never been more true for the family than it is now. Life through the years has centered around the kids and extended family and friends, with many happy times spent at the lake and in Berryhill school activities. The Haraughty house has been "headquarters" for David and Emily's large and lively group of friends, a safe place filled with lots of love and laughter. Suzanne and Dave always were available to give a hug or a listening ear to all the kids, something that David and Emily have both emulated as they got older. A devotion to Jesus has meant serving one another and serving God through their church. Suzanne enjoyed a life-long career in the glass and metals manufacturing business where she made many friends. She excelled at sales and customer service, meeting her clients' business needs and often being counted as a friend to them as well. Suzanne is survived by her husband Dave and daughter Emily of the home and son David, an Airman in the United States Air Force. She is also survived by her mother Judy V. Swindle, father, Patrick G. Kendall, Sr., step-mom Janet Kendall, brother Patrick G. Kendall Jr., sister-in-law Tracey Kendall, nephew Patrick G. Kendall III, nieces Kelsey Marie Kendall and Kylie Marie Kendall, parents-in-law John and Karen Haraughty, brothers-in-law Mike Haraughty and Chris Haraughty, sister-in-law Becky Haraughty, nieces Kaylin and Maddie Haraughty, and step-brothers Canon Manning and Colin Manning. She was predeceased by her step-father, Larry Swindle and her step-brother Cason Swindle.
