Thomas Morgan Brady III Obituary (1977 - 2021)

Thomas Morgan Brady III passed away Sunday, May 9, 2021 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma at the age of 44. Services have been entrusted to the care of Dillon Funeral Services in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Born March 3, 1977 in Midland, Texas. Lovingly called Trey from birth as he was the third Thomas Morgan Brady, the third child born to his mother, Janey, and born on the third day of the third month. Born into a military family he lived in multiple places growing up but calls Farmington, New Mexico, home. Trey loved and cherished his mother, Janey, beyond words. She was his rock, and it was Janey that made him the hard working, caring man he was. He had a deep love for New Mexico and the Hatch Green Chiles grown there. Every June, without fail, he received a shipment of chiles and began his joyous painstakingly precise process of preparing them for the year. He even made a special Hatch Chile roaster. Trey, with Chelsey by his side, went through multiple steps to ensure perfection. He always made sure to prepare extra to give away. Trey took his work very seriously both as an employee and especially as a mentor. An assembly foreman for natural gas heaters, he led by example and was always willing to mentor anybody. He found great reward in helping somebody develop to their potential and beyond. Always the "life of the party", his laughter and joy filled the room. Trey possessed a special presence. It was a big presence, full of kindness, warmth and care for anyone he met. It was a presence that could not be ignored. When he entered the room, you knew it, and were glad he was there. He loved to cook and try new recipes, especially ones from his mother's old cookbooks. Many of his staple meals were from these treasured books and included his famous Chicken Parmesan and delicious breakfast dishes. Trey could do and fix anything around the house. Through Chelsey's eyes, Trey was "the man of all men", except with electricity. He enjoyed watching TV, spending time with friends and family, and doting on "the boys", dogs Rowdy, Ryker and his mean loving cat, Max. Survivors include his wife, Chelsey; brother, Brandon McCarty of New Mexico; sister, Pendelyn "Penny" Wing of Texas; nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Nartwell, Joseph Brady, Joshua Nickels, Daniel McCarty, Leah McCarty, Josie Britt, and Jorja Britt; sister-in-law, Katie Britt; father and mother-in-law, Tim and Kimberlie Polhamus; and his boys, Rowdy, Ryker and Max. He was preceded in death by his mother, Janey Noble; sister, Patsy Brady; and beloved and cherished, Ramsey that he loved very much. A Celebration of Trey's life will be held on Friday, May 14, 2021 at 1PM at Dillon Funeral Service Chapel in Sand Springs with Brenda Smith officiating.
