Delphine "Del" Harris Denton

Delphine (Del) Harris Denton, age 79 of Sapulpa, passed away from this life on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 in Tulsa.

Del was born on August 10, 1935 in Rose, Oklahoma to Mable Kirk. She graduated from Oaks High School near Rose. Del married Johnny Denton in 1991. She owned and operated "Cleaning Corporation" a cleaning business from 1968 to 2004. Johnny preceded her in death on September 25, 2013. Del loved to quilt and won numerous awards and ribbons.

She is survived by her son Tom Harris and wife Kathy of Hurst, Texas, three daughters, Charon Denton of Wagoner, Tammy Boyd and husband Evan of Wagoner, Karen Denton of Florida, a sister, Modean Harris of Sand Springs, ten grandchildren, Brekk Harris of Hurst, Texas, Michael Harris and Miles Harris both of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Brian Doyle of Hurst, Texas, Kelly Doyle of Ft. Collins, Colorado, Braxton Denton of Owasso, Oklahoma, Christian Denton, John Russ Boyd, Evan Boyd Jr., and Sonny Boyd all of Wagoner, Oklahoma, and five great-grandchildren.

Del was preceded in death by her mother, husband, son Douglas Harris, brother Benny Kirk, and sister Polly Armstrong.
