Dorothy Jean Rhyne was born November 4, 1932 in Tulsa the daughter of Clarence and Agnes Roades. She passed from this life on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 in Tulsa at the age of 90 years, 5 months and 21 days.\n\nJean was raised in West Tulsa and graduated Daniel Webster High School in 1950. She was a member of Red Fork Baptist Church where she volunteered in the clothing house and was active in the jail ministry. She was a retired payroll clerk for Sooner Pipe and Supply and loved to travel, plant flowers, play board games and work jigsaw puzzles.\n\nShe was preceded in death by both parents; a sister; 2nd husband, Percy Gardner and 3rd husband, Jack Rhyne, and stepson, Jack Rhyne, Jr.\n\nHer survivors include son, Mike Rudd of New Zealand; daughters, Marcie O'Neal of Beggs, Jani Ross and husband, Jerrod of Sand Springs and Janet Rhyne of Tulsa. Grandchildren, Megan Mintz, Zeona Rudd, Justin Rudd, Ricky O'Neal, Elizabeth Davis, Jennifer Parker, James Croley, Jentri Croley, Julie Rhyne, Jeri Rhyne and Jaci Nation; 17 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.\n\nViewing for Jean is scheduled for 9am-12pm, Tuesday, May 2, 2023, and her funeral service will follow at 2pm both to be held at the Legacy Chapel in Woodland Memorial Park in Sand Springs under the direction of Dillon Funeral Service of Sand Springs.
