Gather around folks, as we share the tale of a man who was as dedicated to his family as he was to ensuring the carburetor was tuned just right. Jarrod Robertson, born in Springdale, AR on the 23rd of December, 1979, spun into this world already revving to go. A man smart in so many ways, he was a wizard of the wrench, a maestro of the motor, and a connoisseur of the carburetor. Jarrod grew up in Sand Springs, Oklahoma and was a graduate of Charles Page High School Class of 1999.\n\nJarrod, a Professional Driver by trade, had an undying love for anything with a motor. When he wasn't behind the wheel, he was under the hood. He was known for his infectious laugh, often heard echoing from the garage as he tinkered. His hobbies took him from the driver's seat to the Tae Kwon mat then on to enjoy 4-wheeling with his brother, Troy and his childhood friends. If you couldn't find Jarrod here he was most likely hunting in the woods around his home. His mischievous charm and humorous antics always kept us on our toes, and he made sure to pass on his knowledge to his kids, ensuring the next generation of motor whisperers. As the saying goes, "Laughter is the shock absorber that eases the blows of life," and Jarrod was a living testament to that.\n\nJarrod's loyalty went beyond his love for engines. He was a devoted husband to his wonderful wife, Shawnda, and together they made a life in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. His love for his family was the fuel that kept him going, and his dedication to them was evident in everything he did. He is survived by his loving wife, Shawnda, and leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter. Jarrod is also survived by his children, Gage Robertson, Krislynn Bury, Bryce Bury and bonus child, Natalie Kiehne; mother, Barbara Jean Conner; brother, Troy Robertson; grandmother, Emma D. Wilson; aunts, Virginia and Alvin Charles, Charlene and Larry Adams, Camilla Surber and Mary Burton as well as numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, family and friends.\n\nHe is preceded in death by his father, Dennis Carrol Robertson and father, Duane Lyndon Connor; grandparents, Carrol and Margaret Robertson and James A. Wilson; uncles, Walter Booth and Clyde J. Tedrick.\n\nAs we remember Jarrod, we encourage everyone to share their memories and upload photos to his memorial page. Let us celebrate Jarrod's life by sharing the joy and laughter he brought to us all. Let's keep his memory alive, not with sorrow, but with the same spirit of fun and love that Jarrod himself embodied. Keep your motors running, folks, just as Jarrod would have wanted.\n\nThe family wishes to share that a bonfire will be planned for a later date and a benefit ride with the Downed Biker Association will be scheduled.
