Ricky Dean "Rick" Mouse was born on January 5, 1960 in Grove, OK to Cherokee Bill Mouse and Rosa Lee Mouse Keener. He departed this life for his eternal home in heaven on December 15, 2021 with his family at his side. \r\n\r\nTo know Rick was to love Rick. He was a gentle giant with a gentle spirit. Rick was always the voice of reason, encouraging you to look at the other side of every situation. He loved the Lord and served him in his everyday life, always possessing the fruits of the spirit. Rick served and volunteered in many different areas including Hope Is Alive, Thunderbird Academy mentor, Sunday School Teacher and Life Group Leader. He also enjoyed many hobbies and activities in life including fishing, cycling, garage sales and of course, the OU Sooners. Believe it or not, Rick loved to mow. What some did not know was that Rick used mowing as a way to minister to families going thru hard times. HIs gentle, kind spirit would always recognize a need. Rick was employed at Broken Arrow Electric and worked inside sales for over 20 years. He was a beloved co-worker and friend. \r\n\r\nRick married his sweetheart, Lori Michelle Ross, on March 15, 1980 in Jay, OK. Together they raised 2 wonderful sons, Garrett Mouse and Griffin Mouse. Rick and Lori enjoyed their life together and traveled to many fun and exciting places. \r\n\r\nRick was preceded in death by his parents, his older brother, Leon Ellick and his younger brother, Wayne Mouse.\r\n\r\nHe is survived by his wife, Lori, and sons, Garrett Mouse and wife, Christina and their precious baby, Maylee Michelle, Griffin Mouse and wife, Savannah and their adorable babies, Chief Tatum and Oak Titus; sisters, Yvonne Cruze of Eucha, OK and Rita Rhodes of Salina, OK; brother George Mouse and wife, Kissie of Yukon, OK. Rick is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends that loved him dearly and will miss him every day.
